The World of HD Minicams...
is changing all the time
Prime Television has been supplying minicams for all areas of broadcast for over 15 years. When it comes to minicam facilitation we have seen it, done it, got the T-shirt, ironed out problems and perfected the service.
We would like to share that knowledge and experience with you and your team...

F1 Petronas Shoot
We have always specialised in rigging minicams in and around cars and you don't get much higher profile than rigging cameras in and around Lewis Hamilton's F1 race car. We have worked with many of the Formula 1 racing teams and have worked with Lewis Hamilton when he was at Mclaren but this was the first time we had worked with his Petronas F1 car and pit crew. We were asked to rig half a dozen 4K minicams for a series of shots in and around Lewis's car during pit stop practice. In addition to a POV of Lewis himself we rigged cameras on the pit crew, the hydraulic wheel gun, the front jack and a wheel. The resulting sequence of shots worked extremely well and should perfectly compliment the main camera footage. Video to follow on our website shortly.

Cable-less Is The Future
Following the amazing success of the Mcain Chips commercial, where we used remote control camera heads, we realised that the hassle and expense of long and complicated cable runs must be a thing of the past. Being able to take cameras straight from the van, in to a location and have them operational within 30 minutes has got to be the way to go. Prime is now investing in the amazing Camera Corps RF Q-Ball to add to our list of remote control RF Cameras. The RF Q-Ball radio link system is a completely ‘cable free’ plug and play method of operating and controlling the camera system. The standalone box contains an HD video transmitter together with a data receiver for linking Joystick controller. Contact us for a demonstration, quote or more information.

Booking.com Webcast
Sometimes it's nice to get away from TV Rig Shows and Commercials and shoot a nice simple Webcast using muti-camera remote heads. Prime was called in to provide a small compact, HD quality webcast for Booking.com from their new offices at Canary Wharf. They required a discrete system that could be managed with minimal crew. Space was an issue as a large audience anticipated and the space was in the canteen recreational area. We mounted three Bradley HD-150's and linked them through the vision mixer to provide the live webcast and recorded ISO from all cameras as back up and for archive, using one of our portable recording racks. Our simple system provided an excellent quality webcast without taking up valuable space.
